Description

Homemade Air Fryer Hash Browns are crispy, golden, and easy to make with shredded potatoes for a perfect breakfast side dish.

Ingredients

– 2 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold), peeled and shredded
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. Rinse shredded potatoes in cold water to remove starch and pat dry with a clean towel.
3. In a bowl, mix shredded potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Shape the potato mixture into small patties or leave loose for a more rustic hash brown.
5. Place the potato mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
6. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

– For extra crispiness, squeeze out excess water from shredded potatoes before seasoning.
– Adjust seasoning to personal preference.
– Works well as a side for eggs, bacon, or avocado toast.
