Ingredients
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
– 2 tbsp honey
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme.
3. Cook chicken in the skillet for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add balsamic vinegar, honey, and minced garlic. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the glaze. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
6. Serve warm with your choice of side dishes.
Notes
For a richer flavor, marinate the chicken in balsamic vinegar and seasonings for 30 minutes before cooking. Serve with roasted vegetables or rice.
