Classic Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:
✅ 1 pre-made pie crust
✅ 4 large eggs
✅ 1 cup of heavy cream
✅ 1 cup of diced ham or bacon
✅ 1 cup of shredded Swiss cheese
✅ Salt and pepper to taste
✅ Chopped parsley or chives for garnish

 

Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2️⃣ Unroll the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie plate. Crimp the edges as desired.
3️⃣ In a large pan over medium heat, cook the diced ham or bacon until crispy. Then, drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
4️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
5️⃣ Sprinkle the cooked ham or bacon and shredded cheese evenly over the pie crust.
6️⃣ Pour the egg mixture over the top.
7️⃣ Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the filling comes out clean.
8️⃣ Allow the quiche to cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes before garnishing with chopped herbs.
9️⃣ Slice the quiche into 6 pieces and serve.
