Ingredients:
✅ 2 cups all-purpose flour
✅ 1 tablespoon baking powder
✅ 1/2 teaspoon salt
✅ 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
✅ 3/4 cup whole milk
✅ Extra butter for brushing
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3️⃣ Add the cold butter pieces to the flour mixture. Use your fingers to rub the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
4️⃣ Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
5️⃣ Use a scoop or a spoon to drop portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
6️⃣ Bake the biscuits for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
7️⃣ Right after taking them out of the oven, brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter for that glossy finish.
8️⃣ Serve warm with additional butter.
