Ingredients:
✅ 2 cups of all-purpose flour
✅ 1 cup of sugar
✅ 1 cup of unsalted butter, softened
✅ 1 tsp of baking powder
✅ 1/2 tsp of salt
✅ 2 large eggs
✅ 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
✅ 1 cup of crushed nuts (your choice)
✅ For the icing:
✅ 2 cups of powdered sugar
✅ 4 tbsp of milk
✅ 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3️⃣ In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until well incorporated.
4️⃣ Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
5️⃣ Shape the dough into round pastries and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
6️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the pastries have a golden-brown hue.
7️⃣ While the pastries are cooling on a rack, prepare the icing by combining the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
8️⃣ When the pastries have cooled, spread the icing on top of each one and sprinkle with the crushed nuts.
