Golden Flaky Pastries with Creamy Filling and Herb Topping

Ingredients:
✅ 2 sheets of puff pastry
✅ 1 cup of cream cheese
✅ 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, finely chopped
✅ 1 egg for egg wash
✅ 1 cup of dark dipping sauce of choice

Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Lay out your puff pastry sheets and cut out circles using a round cookie cutter. You should have about 16 circles.
3️⃣ Spread a generous amount of cream cheese in the center of 8 pastry circles, leaving some space around the edges for sealing.
4️⃣ Sprinkle the chopped parsley on top of the cream cheese.
5️⃣ Cover each filled circle with one of the remaining pastry circles. Press down the edges with a fork to seal the pastries.
6️⃣ Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the top of each pastry with the egg wash for a golden finish.
7️⃣ Bake the pastries in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until they are golden brown and flaky.
8️⃣ Serve the pastries in a circular pattern on a plate with the dark dipping sauce on the side.
