Ingredients:
✅ 2 cups cooked ham, diced
✅ 4 cups pasta, uncooked
✅ 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
✅ 2 cups heavy cream
✅ 3 tablespoons butter
✅ 1 onion, finely chopped
✅ 2 cloves of garlic, minced
✅ Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2️⃣ Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
3️⃣ In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until they are soft and fragrant.
4️⃣ Add the diced ham to the saucepan and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
5️⃣ Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Add in 3 cups of the shredded cheese and stir until it has melted into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
6️⃣ Combine the cooked pasta with the creamy ham sauce, then transfer the mixture to a large baking dish.
7️⃣ Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top of the casserole.
8️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese on top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
9️⃣ Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
