Ingredients:
✅ 2 cups flour
✅ 1 tsp baking powder
✅ 1/2 tsp salt
✅ 3/4 cup warm water
✅ 1 tbsp olive oil
✅ 1 cup mixed herbs (parsley, cilantro), finely chopped
✅ 1 1/2 cups feta cheese or any soft cheese, crumbled
✅ 1 cup cooked meat (optional)
✅ Butter for brushing
Instructions:
1️⃣ In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, then mix to form a soft dough. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
2️⃣ Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat.
3️⃣ Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large, thin rectangle.
4️⃣ Spread the mixed herbs, cheese, and meat (if using) evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
5️⃣ Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 4 equal pieces.
6️⃣ Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or directly onto your preheated pizza stone. Brush the tops with butter.
7️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
8️⃣ Serve warm, and enjoy!
