Ingredients
– 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
– 3/4 cup warm milk
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1 large egg
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
– 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– Oil for frying

– 1/2 cup heavy cream

2. Add sugar, salt, egg, butter, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
4. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut out donut shapes.
5. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry donuts until golden, about 1 minute per side.

7. Dip cooled donuts into glaze and top with sprinkles.
8. Allow glaze to set before serving.
Notes

– Use a donut cutter for consistent shapes.
