Ingredients:
✅ 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
✅ 2 cups granulated sugar
✅ 1 cup butter, softened
✅ 4 large eggs
✅ 1 cup milk
✅ 2 tsp vanilla extract
✅ 2 tsp baking powder
✅ 1/2 tsp salt
✅ 1 cup strawberry jam
✅ 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
✅ 1/2 cup powdered sugar
✅ 1 cup crumbled graham crackers
✅ 8 fresh strawberries for garnish
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, softened butter, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix until the batter is smooth.
3️⃣ Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
4️⃣ While the cakes are cooling, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form. This will be your creamy layer.
5️⃣ Once the cakes have cooled, cut each one horizontally into two layers.
6️⃣ Begin layering the cake. Start with a layer of cake, followed by a layer of whipped cream, a layer of strawberry jam, another layer of whipped cream, and finally a layer of cake. Repeat this process with the other layers.
7️⃣ Top the final layer of cake with the crumbled graham crackers to create a crumbly, golden-brown crust.
8️⃣ Garnish each slice with a fresh strawberry before serving.
