Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded or cubed
  • 3 cups broccoli florets steamed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Cheese Sauce:

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
  • Add shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Casserole:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken and steamed broccoli. Pour the cheese sauce over the mixture and stir gently to coat.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.

Bake:

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
