- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts optional
Prepare the Dough:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy using an electric mixer.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
Stir in the Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and nuts (if using).
