Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup strawberries diced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Filling:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold in diced strawberries and set aside.

Assemble the Turnovers:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 4 equal squares.
  • Spoon a small amount of the strawberry cream cheese filling onto one side of each square.
  • Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle. Press edges with a fork to seal.
  • Brush the tops with egg wash (beaten egg mixed with milk) for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
